Who knows where he'll be. I just hope he lives to see that age. It reminds me of my when my other her, Joe Strummer. When he was 50, he still had his punk spirit. He was also full of promise, working at his solo career with the Mescaleros as well as a possible reunion with his other great band, The Clash. But then it all just ended. After December 22, 2002, the promise of my other hero's product was nothing more. He's one of Rock's angels now. At the tender age of 50.
I just hope Prince can still funk it up for us at that age. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

PRINCE will be just fine. Remember, he's where he's at, coz that's where he chooses 2 be. If he were po', broke n' lonely, then I'd agree he's washed up. He's far from that.
As far as MTV, Billboard, radio etc, he's paid a price 4 going underground, but he chose 2 be there. And where will we be in 6 years? Probably still here, saying "where will Prince's career be when he's 60?" R.

This is Hilarious. Maybe by then Prince will turn to becomming a Preacher and have his own Church and then he'll just sing in his Church. Ever think of That?

50?
Still no reformation of The Revolution, and he'll either go like Sly Stone, totally AWOL and throw out things here and there from the vault, or the next generation will discover him, a'la Santana, or some DJ will remix some dud song from "New Power Soul", and will turn it into a worldwide smash! It bugs me out to think of Prince being 50. In 5 years!
Not to mention that I'll be 42 by then. That is some mind boggling shit. cracknbush

I bet there'll be a "Prince 50" tribute concert with the likes of Britney Spears and Mariah Carey singing medleys of the man's work...
