So true! I will never forget when I was hearing her beautiful voice for the first time in my life at the U4 Nightclub gig in 1987 And she was also such a nice and humble girl... With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

I wish Prince did more music with her. For me, she was an intrinsic part of the Lovesexy experience. Her voice was just as powerful a contribution to the revelations of that album... 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Yes, very sad ... I remember reading something about her death I think on Sheila's site at the time.
My brother, some friends and I saw Sheila in Atlantic city during her "Sheila E" album tour ("Hold Me") etc, prior to SOTT and Boni was in Sheila's band. At the Encore we got up on stage and Boni shook my brother's and I think my hand. I played Sheila's timbales too until a guard made me stop. P.S. Sheila was doing "Kiss" as the encore and it rocked! And I always felt like Rosie was a not as good replacement for Boni in the NPG. (Boni played keyboards too).

Her vocals on the much lauded 'Small Club' boot also deserve a mention. Especially 'Cold Sweat' and 'Down Home Blues'

My apologies, I was wrong, I hadn't heard about this, but after further investigation I found out he died in September 2001 of cancer.
Sad loss IMHO. He also managed another favourite of mine Karl Wallinger of World Party.

i miss boni, she had an amazing voice, and she is one of my favorite parts of the Sign of the times movie. Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton
