When I first heard this on the radio, I thought ..."Now, that is a Prince song." I bought the single and still listen to it today.

i was just listening to the single the other day there
my favourite edit is the extended one where he is talking about getting "sweeney knock u off down the corner store" Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I remember waking up one morning in the fall of 1995,turning on the radio and hearing the end of the song.Prince was singing..."yeah,you're gonna miss me".I went crazy! I had spent months listening to a poor-quality bootleg version and it was so thrilling to finally hear a good,CLEAR version for once. I LOVE this song! This is the kind of Prince I like to hear. It's probably his best single of the 90s.

Seems like the overly critical people are the sheep now days. It takes guts to admit that you like something. -Rdhull ...it ain't where ya from, it's where ya at... - Rakim

Sorry guys... For me it rates 10 out of 10 on the cheese-o-meter.Not a big fan of the whole talking in the middle of the song bit. It actually makes me cringe. It's the same for the bit in International Lover and the others... --------------------------------------------------

I still have funny memories of listening to this song on a bootleg, months before the album came out.It was a really lousy recording that sounded as if it was being played at a nightclub,or during a concert. You can hear some guy with a foreign accent saying "This sounds like "Joy In Repetition",right?"

"Did u do to your other man the same things that u did to me?" What man hasn't thought of the aformentioned verse regarding their lady/wife??

I love the versions on the single more than the one that made it to "The Gold Experience". I liked the second version on the single and the third version with Eric Leeds. Man, that Eric Leeds sure can play!!! SPREAD LOVE UNTIL THE SUN'S FINAL RISE--The Duality a.k.a. "WYNTER SKYE"

Yep. That and Sexy M.F. @ Sexy M.F. I'm serious. I love Sexy M.F. I think it's a fine tune. SMF rules bigtime imo. The chorus is brilliant. When i heard THAT on the radio i thought it was groundbreaking. I Hate U is a nice ballad (with childish lyrics though). Nice when U're 16. But when U got 25 U know Billy Jack Bitch is much better.
