another prince reminiscence..do you remember when...... you wait all day..sometimes all night next to the radio 2 hear a wee blast of the new single?i remember when alphabet st came out...heard it at last at 0300 on radio 1,boy was i fucked for school the next day,or when u first heard kiss,wasnt it the strangest thing ud ever seen or heard(no limits bbc2 showed a 30 sec clip...jenny powell "urgh weird"!!),or the first time seeing lets go crazy the video...thinking it was just the coolest thing(not so cool being refused from the movie coz i was too young!!!)...not 2 mention doing a compilation of all the "dirty stuff"coz to a 12 year old lad swearing in songs is cool as fuck!!!i even walked around the mean streets of durham with me ghetto blaster blasting out EROTIC CITY ...hush puppies,clothes from NEXT...da bomb!!!(until a load of casuals would try and knife ya!)ahhh memories peeps!PRINCE I STILL LOVE YA MAN!!! | |
