just got a copy of this week's issue of the 'disposable' weekly crap rag, city pages here in mpls while i wuz at the store. the main article in it this week has to do with the history of the first avenue nightclub, and has tons of stories from folks who have worked there, played there, bla bla bla. long story short, very interesting article...and it is also a very long article, which you can read for yourself online.

...and before any of you mofos say 'wrong forum', there are quite a few prince references within the article, along with commentary from jam & lewis, sonny thompson, and some others.

so go read the article. you may learn sumfin.
