Tyler Collins on PP Anybody know what happened with this album? She was signed to Paisley in 92. Was anything recorded?

Before u brought this up, I had totally forgotten that she ever signed with PP. I remember her stating something about it on Arsenio Hall's show, but nothing ever surfaced. Man, she was beautiful and fine! Her voice wasn't all that great, but after the "Girls Night Out" and "Whatcha Gonna Do" videos, who cares how her voice sounded like. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I once read an article where Tyler claimed that Prince asked her to appear in 'Graffiti Bridge'.This was in 1989,when she was riding high with her hit single "Girls Nite Out".According to Collins,Prince wanted her to play his girlfriend in the film.She politely declined,saying she didn't wanna become just another Prince girl.But she hinted that she would one day work with him.
In 1992,she did just that.She was signed to Paisley Park Records and began work on an album.One track featured a rap group,but not much is known about the rest of the album,or if it was even completed.The PP label closed down in February 1994,and Tyler hasn't been heard from since. | |
