Anxiety said: I don't want to speculate too much about Nirvana, but I will say that as a writer and artist, Kurt Cobain was amazingly gifted. I would humor an argument saying he was a more interesting performer than he was a musician, but I can listen to "Bleach", "Nevermind" and "In Utero" all the way through and thoroughly enjoy myself without hitting the skip button once. Can't say that about many artists' work.
co-sign! ... I hit the skip button very often when I try those '90 albums of Prince again ... Prince died in 1989.

Eddie Cochran - the creator of Summertimes Blues, Come Om Everybody ...- died at the age of 21 in 1960, imo ( and I'm not the only one to think this) he was better than Elvis.

* jn2 you're not alone. cochran was better than elvis. (a way better musician,by far) and i ain't dissin' elvis either he was pretty good. if prince had died at 21... i wouldn't be on this site. and this site wouldn't exist! now what if elvis had died in the army? (that's another thread topic, right?)
