Undertaker
& Sacrifice i think.

he screams 'VEGAS!' at the end of alot of songs live.
kind of a way of instructing the band 2 vamp,or whatever u call that.

Yeah, Joshy is right in a sense.

"Vegas" is when Prince calls out to the band to hold and sustain a note (until he calls it off when he pleases).

Kinda gives a 'shimmery' effect to the music. Don't know how Prince came up with the word.

I always thought that "Vegas" has shimmering lights, so when he calls "Vegas", it's the cue to 'shimmer' that note of the music.

Perhaps im wrong

the term 'Vegas' used by prince, often to realise a musical conclusion, is so called and applied as such a style was a frequent and popular ending to performances by many of the famous 'Vegas acts'.
You do as I say

Exactly. Thus, when playing in Vegas, he refrains from using this cue so as not to confuse the band.

Very interesting indeed! smile

He says 'Nevada' instead, which made me wonder when I saw the DVD,
but makes perfectly sense in this light.
