'Camille' was an album that Prince recorded straight after
shelving 'Dream Factory'. The 8 tracks on the album all
featured Prince's vocals speeded up. Prince decided not
to release the album, but instead expanded it to a triple
album called 'Crystal Ball' (which featured more tracks
without speeded up vocals). This was then cut down to
a double album and released as 'Sign O The Times'.

Here's the tracklisting for the Camille album...

1. Rebirth Of The Flesh
2. Housequake
3. Strange Relationship
4. Feel U Up
5. Shockadelica
6. Good Love
7. If I Was Your Girlfriend
8. Rockhard In A Funky Place
.

I wonder why he didn't include "Data Bank" on this album? I guess it was because it was going to be credited as a Prince and The Revolution song, huh? hmmm

Data Bank isn't a Camille track, by any definition.
It was recorded with the Revolution, and doesn't
feature Prince's vocals speeded up.

sped up camille voice.

As usual, people seem to be wrongly assuming Camille is the speeded up version of Prince.

Camille is an alter ego, but its not just the speeded up tracks. Erotic City and Love Or Money are not Camille tracks. They are simply prince singing in a speeded up voice.

Camille is responsible for Scarlett Pussy and Bob George, but there is not a speeded up voice in site.

Ummm, I suggest YOU go and listen to it properly! rolleyes
Either you've got a really bad speeded up version of it
or you're thinking of another track.

There's only 2 versions...
Prince & the Revolution's original unreleased version from '86
& the released 1990 version by The Time.
Neither of which use any speeded up vocals.

Calm down. It's really not that serious. rolleyes The very I have (as well as your and everybody else's) from the aborted Dream Factory sessions has Prince's voice sped up.

Actually that last comment wasn't really directed at you.
The one before was though. As I'm totally confused as to
why you keep insisting that Data Bank has sped up vocals
when it doesn't (go and listen to it right now, there is no
way it could be described as having sped up vocals... not
even slightly sped up). Data Bank was recorded live in the
studio with the Revolution at the same time as Girl O' My
Dreams, Can't Stop This Feeling I Got & We Can Funk.
All these tracks were pretty much recorded in one go,
and Prince never re-recorded his vocals sped up on any
of these tracks.
