I haven't heard "My Name is Bart." I bet it is a riot.

There are so many Prince references in The Simpsons, like when the Simpsons' dogs have MANY puppies and they name one of them Prince and another "The dog (puppy?) formerly known as Prince"
I'm firmly planted in denial

I like Homer and Marge's remensicense(sp?) of the past (possibly when Maggie was born, or when Lisa got her sax) and Homer says 'This was back in the days when the Artist Formerly Known as Prince was still known as Prince...' *LOL*

My all time favorite P reference on the Simpsons was when the Springfield Kids faced off against the kids from the rival town and Milhouse meets his "bizarro twin" counterpart, and they begin to fight, but then they realize they are exactly alike, and with a tear in his eyes Milhouse says, "So this is what it sounds like . . . WHEN DOVES CRY!" They embrace.

falloff classic.

Remember the episode where Little Richard made an appearance at Springfield Elementary Auditorium? Homer was in the audience and shouted "Do Purple Rain!!!" And Richard shouted his famous "shut up" phrase.

And then Homer said, "wow,Michael Jackson just told me to shut up." lol

Yesterday I was listening to a hidden commentary track for "Stark Raving Dad" the Simpsons episode where a big white guy is in a mental home because he thought he was Michael Jackson. Basically there was talk at one point, after seeing the success this episode had, about making an episode which involved Prince. However Prince never approved the script. There was also a joke in the MJ episode which originally involved the name Prince, but Michael asked for it to be changed to Elvis.

If you wanna understand what I am talking about, then get the 3rd season DVD and listen to the commentary tracks.
