RIGHT! I just watched the Aladdin DVD and it is EXCELLENT! i cannot believe there are ppl up in here complaining about whatever it is that you be complaining about.
there is nothing wrong with the picture quality. yes it is rough shot but so are MOST CONCERT FILMS except for shit like damn Cher or some Britney nonsense which is choreographed. This ain't no damn well Pop Idol we are talking about. it's Prince!
the performances are outstanding. i think Family Name is such a profound statement from a major pop star (or even a former pop star) and i'd like to see anyone out there the stature of Prince commit such a strong piece of work to the public and the NPG just about blow the building up with that song. i had to stop eating just to watch that.
The Ride - well all you guitar players out there, look and see how it's done. OMG! the dude is terrr-able.
Gotta Broken Heart Again gets me right in the throat. what a vocalist.
yes ok i will admit that the in-between song stills are a bit distracting and on Gotta Broken Heart Again, tour photos are shown over Maceo's solo. that's a bit uncool but other wise, get over it!

I've gotten high on his music many times in the past - at concerts in particular.

But justa simple thing like getting the long-wanted Dream Factory was enough to get me trippin'.

Music is a healthy high and is highly recommended.
