nothing 2 prove

many people seem 2 think prince

still needs 2 prove 2 them

how awesome he is

some say he needs 2 get back

into the mainstream

some say he's fallin off

i disagree

prince has already been there

and done that

he's an artist who leads

he's an innovator

even if he is never given

the recognition he truly deserves,

nothing compares 2 him

much respect, p

im sure people LOVED Madhouse when it hit in 86 cuz it was something different & everyone loved him anyway.

now people want him 2 join the hoards of shit acts out there & churn out some sommercial pop album so he is back on top & they dont get weird looks when they tell their friends: "I LIKE PRINCE"

its quite pathetic.

P was feeling NEWS...
i dig it.
im happy smile

I think at the end of the day, some people need to realise that Prince has grown up and shouldn't have to be pulling splits, swearing and shagging women all over the place to be cool.

He has managed to grow older gracefully and I really like the fact that he has done this rather than doing loads of tours dressed in full 80's gear and singing Purple Rain medleys. So what if he has moved in a different direction musically? Sure I like the stuff he was doing when he was 25 a bit better, I am 23 and can really relate to that stuff, but I love the fact that he is making me listen to music I prolly wouldn't be picking up in the shops if he wasn't doing it..

Yeah he had it, smashed it tore it up and sold us the T-shirt-but that is exactly it-he has done it.

Muffy

Nobody Ever said Prince had something to Prove. Listen,if you saw the early shows and I have since 17 well you would Know why people want Him to do it Again. Of Course being Devoted and all well I dig on Every Vibe he Creates. He'll Always be His Royal Badness. He'll always be Funky. He'll always be the BEST! Age has absolutely NOTHING to do with it cause the Man is AWESOME!
