2 days ago i saw the video for *Empty Room*. never knew there even WAS a video 4 it (considering the 95 version is an outtake)

Joshy it was So wonderful a video. Oh what a Beautiful song and if only you saw him like I did at the Today show doing Zanalee and they way he played his Guitar. It was So hot that day. I passed out but awoke right before he came onstage. I don't Remember all the songs he did that day but it was so Great. Watching the videos 18 and over, Same December , have you seen I HATE U? They are so Wonderful to watch. Beautifully shot. Heartfelt and well just Emotional and Romantic in a Passionate and Grandeous Style that Only Prince Can Acheive. | |

I remember seeing the Empty Room, Same December & Zannalee videos before the '95 concert I went to. It was the first time I'd even heard The Same December & Zannalee. I thought Zannalee was fantastic and couldn't wait for him to release it. Cue 1996 and 'Chaos & Disorder' comes out and low and behold, its on there! So I stick the album on a patiently wait for Zannalee to come round (even resisting the temptation to skip 'right the wrong' which I now regard as a comedy classic!). Imagine my horror when I hear the album version - naff cop conversation and all kinds of over produced gimickry in the background. Thank God for bootlegs - I now have a decent enough quality version of the original. "Everybody want what they don't got..." | |
