The Daily Star reports Prince has gone to several of Mariah Carey's 'Charmbracelet' tour dates and reportedly hopes to woo her. "He's got a soft spot for Mariah," a source revealed. "He's asked about coming to see her when she performs in the UK in October. He seems smitten with her."

jesus god no. I find it baffling that people still like this woman. I could understand it back in the early 90's when she actually used her vocal talents on half good songs, and sang instead of that inaudible whine that she now uses on her songs.

OK Prince used to love working with 'dirty' girls back in the 80's, but Mariah isnt even dirty. Its implied sexuality that reeks of innocent girl trying to rebel.

As for her voice, Id much rather see Prince sing with someone with a truly soulful voice such as Mary J Blige. Mariah's voice is all range no depth.

Most over rated singer of the 90's IMO.

I agree with everything in both your posts. When Mariah first came out, I was a huge fan. She was this natural-looking woman in jeans and bare feet, with an amazing voice and some pretty impressive songs for a first album. I couldn't wait for her to mature and grow as an artist. Then...well...just see above.
