Prince mention in The Rocky Mountain News referring to the Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band concert last night:
Nostalgia it may be, but it also features two of the greatest drummers in the history of rock music-Starr and Sheila E., who showed exactly why she was able to keep up with Prince during some of his most furiously creative periods in the '80s. Like last time around, Sheila E. just about stole the show, with her own hit, A Love Bizzare, and drum solos that had the crowd demanding more. Damn!!! I thought I'd go, but something else came up. I can't believe Sheila was in Denver and I didn't see her. I was conflicted about it all day yesterday -- no wonder I need high blood pressure meds! http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista | |
