Once a month or so, Prince likes 2 spend the day wallowing N other people's despair, let alone his own. That is, Prince is fond of reading advice columns where people write N with their romantic, sexual & social problems 2 people like Dear Meg, Dr. Ruth & Ann Landers. Prince & his secretary clip the columns from newspapers & magazines daily, & collect them N a big stack. When he's got some spare time, Prince takes the whole stack & runs off & locks himself up & reads. He says the letters give him inspiration 4 new songs & film ideas.



That reminds me, back N '83 I wrote N because was an up & coming rock star with a abusive father. & how had this new beautiful girlfriend from out of town & how lost her & won her back N the end. Eventually, had recurring dreams of the future about how would end up selling my cd's on my lonely computer.
