I just found a "Dream Factory Alternate Version," and was wondering what's so alternate about it, and how many different versions are there of this tune? I know there were some complaints that the Crystal Ball official release included some versions of "bootlegs" that weren't as good as some that were widely distributed. Is this one of them? What are others?

It's one of Prince's most interesting unreleased projects, but over, and over, and over these questions get ask!!

There's an intro missing on the 'Crystal Ball' version of Dream Factory.
The whole tune can be heard on Thunderballs release of the whole 'last version' of Dream Factory (The album).
The intro (as a separate track) is on The Work boot.
