Prince - The Quasi-Religious Icon

Are there any other artists that illicit such a quasi-religious discussion amongst their fans?

I mean, it's not us - he actively propogates a religious sensibility amongst his fans.

Are there any other popular music artists that are so eager to impart a certain religious belief in their music?
