Elvis is the only MOFO that comes close to Prince's
charisma...musicianship, on the other hand,...please. The Beatles had more HITS, but, was the music really better? Hell NO. Much like MJ, they struck a chord with mainstream America and rode it to its fullest. Prince is one BAD MF...untouchable! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I personally prefer Prince's music to either - but both Elvis and the Beatles had more of an impact on culture - and I do think they are both more important in that sense.
But as I say, to me personally, I prefer Prince's music. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

However, I can't deny that they've been influential, I suppose. What I also hate is that it is almost expected of anyone who listens to music that they like the Beatles- it's almost a given. I expect somebody will give me hell for the blasphemy of not rating them the best.  | |

i love Elvis
