Geez I hope not. Listen, I don't think he has to redeem himself. I just wish he were more Happy in a way. I wish Warners would just have given him his damn Masters years ago. Any of his hear meet Prince this morning? Ask him how his day is? What's with all this assuming that he's unhappy and needs redemption? Chances are his life is a happier one than all the critics around here.

Redemption comes from Christ.

Redeem himself from what? To him he has redeemed himself, just because the redemption isn't what you had in mind doesn't mean he hasn't. Ever considered that's why he became saved(Jehovah Witness)in the first place? Usually that's a signification that one has or on the road to redemption. Btw nobody here knows how much money the man made, or what he invested in, nor can we speculate that he's miserable. There are certain things in his life that may get him cheesed, just like everyone else in the world. Prince does not need to reedem himself to you or anyone else.

He does not owe either you or the world anything.

You are judging a man you do not even know. That smile on his face does not look like that of a 'sad', 'bitter' man to me.

I would also like to see the evidence enforcing your claim that his music club and DVD releases are not making him enough money.

In addition there is no evidence that Prince wishes for 'thousands' of his fans to 'convert' into Jehovah's Witnesses.

What you have written is little more than conjecture and personal opinion.

Prince is living his life and his dream. If you are not satisfied with sharing in it, then move on and live yours.

It really is that simple.

Well, at least Prince didn't take 6 years to release some mediocre pop drivel like Invincible. He hasn't purchased children from God knows where and then dangled them over balconies. He hasn't had more plastic surgery than Phyllis Diller, Cher and Liza Minnelli combined. He hasn't paid a 13 year old boy millions in a settlement, then on national TV admitted he still sleeps with little boys. He hasn't gone on TV and made acceptance speeches for non-existent awards. Etc., etc., etc.

Yep, all Prince has done in the last couple of years was deliver a first class world tour (One Nite Alone), sorry Australia. Performed a 7 night kick ass Celebration in '02. Released a live CD of One Nite Alone which is brilliant. Offered a rather impressive downloadable CD, Xpectation. And released N.E.W.S. and the great Aladdin dvd. And all the while, Prince's guitar playing has gotten better and better. As a musician and bandleader, Prince still reigns supreme.
Redeem himself? Fool, please.
