I believe he should have gotten a higher position, especially over some of the obvious people.
But also remember he's not as influencial on the GENERAL public these days, so they're not gonna give him a high spot. Plus most people only think of him as a come and go thing, like Purple rain was that thing. | |

yep, should've been higher, top 100 at least, many of today's *ahem* artists swear by his music, he's had a somewhat big influence on the music industry, and is a household name (though not for his msuic, but still is).
But all of VH1's lists are laughable---Nicole Kidman???!!!  You can't take those things seriously.~KiKi | |
