when prince ended his contract with warners... after gold, he had 3 more albums to deliver, rumoured to be vault 1,2 and 3, we got two in the form of chaos and disorder and the vault, old friends for sale, so did both parties then agree not to bother with a third as perhaps warners saw no profit, and the contract was anulled early or do warners still have the right to "at a later date" realse an already delivered album?
or have i just had a mental block and forgotten something? . . If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

or have i just had a mental block and forgotten something? . . If I remember correctly, the third album was the rerelease or the "official" release of The Black Album. There was no 3rd Vault album
It was initially talked about there being 3 vault albums, but this never got any further than 'talk'. Prince fulfilled his contract with WB with 2 'vault' albums (Old Friends 4 Sale & Chaos And Disorder), the Black Album and the right to produce a single disc 'best of' compilation (The Very Best Of Prince).
