New Prince can play old Prince songs and give them a newer fleshed out sound (GottaBrokenHeartAgain from the Aladdin DVD), can play Sanatana note for note.
Old Prince couldn't come up with layered sound of Xpectation or NEWS or TRC (although Parade is close) you look better on your facebook page than you do in person | |

Here's something to ponder was the old Prince Really an UNHEALTHY one and is the NEW PRINCE HEALTHY,CLEAN and is this a Reflection of the Religion and Manuella and just better living and Really do people go for the SLEEZE or the MUSIC? THat's why he doesn't NEED the CURSING ANYMORE. If ya Can't Accept who he is and the changes I do think ya better move on. And the Gay stuff well even if it's true..even if he was or had affairs So What! Does that make him less Desirable or less Musically Inclined or even Handicapped? Hell No! Makes him Colorful,that's all. | |

Exactly less emphases on Sex more on Religion and now Stable and let's the music not his words speak for him. The only thing that has changed is that he has Mellowed or Calmed. He is Comfortable and not Yearning/Wanting. I believe he is Content and Happy. This is a much more Relaxed and Mature Prince. I know he finds my Obsession Scary but one must be able to Read Him. So I would say Prince has never been Healthier and more Serious and more Focused. Remember he's a Musician and remember how Perfect Parade Was? That music was Phenomenal. It's Grandeous to see just how the music and his life has changed over the years. To me Prince has never been Better. | |

We may miss the old prince, but he's moved on which is cool, now theres something new, if u like it cool, if u don't then u can still appriciate the old stuff.
Just think of him as a new artist, and the one before was another. At least he has been doing this music stuff forever now and we have witness it. think of jimi hendrix, he came and went in 4 years (as a solo artist), it was beautiful. a lot of ppl would have wished that he never died. I wonder what he would be like today, all strict blues maybe? | |

For sure Orgmind you are Right! Prince is so darned Giving as a Performer as such he is not Greedy,does Care about his fans,does Share the Spotlight with others and Friends and all. I think he's a Gentle,Quiet,Reserved Soul that is so Terribly Misunderstood because he Refused to Talk and Refuses to drop the Mysterious Cloak and Dagger Image. I think he's not been Read Correctly at all in the past and this has hurt him. | |
