Seriously folks, this shit ain't cool no more. His business practices are a joke and it's starting to reflect on him as an artist.

His attempt at a music club has been nothing but a public relations nightmare for Paisley Park Enterprises. You can't deny the fact that the majority of fans are not at all happy with what the club has delivered to them, on many levels.

It is not just about giving music to fans, it's about communication and straight talk, i am sure if Amazon.com had products on sale and they failed to deliver customers would move on in droves.

What is needed is a wholesale cleanout of all the sheep and YES men, he needs to communicate with people who are grounded in reality.

The potential of a music club is enormous, he has a vast array of recordings which the fans would eat up, he could make all the money he wanted.

All it needs is someone to go in there and take the music out and let them do what is needed to get a quality product into the hands of fans.

Many have said before that all he would need to do is send a couple of CDR's per month to someone, mass produce that...have fans design the artwork and mail it out.

Two/three releases every two months is enough, anything he wants...old soundboards, rehearsals, jams...preferably outtakes.

What fans really want is old music, old...Revolution era, all they ask is that you leave it alone, no edits or cuss words removed.

Put aside the religious overtones and let the fans enjoy your work, even if it's not where you're at right now.

It's not much to ask, it's a drop in the ocean compared to what the vault has to offer.

Please Prince, FOR ONCE do things right and what we want.

Couldnt agree more.. but he is just too stuborn, he's always been like that, and its even worse it seems these days. Well, I might add that he needs a producer, not to dictate his music in a sense, but he's gotta get back on track as far as im concerned.

I just want NEW music that is good and will be played again. Not just something added to my collection and forgotten about.

The prefix of "Manager" is "MAN"

Prince needs something. Liberation is right! I don't know if it's a manager that he needs, but he definitely needs some help running his website, the music club etc. He seems so blinded by religion these days and it is having a negative effect on his businesses music. I wish he would get rid of all the YES men and get people on board that could really help him have a successful music club etc.

Regardless of the issues and teething problems - from someone who works in marketing - as far as the club goes in delivering real value and real closeness - it is the best example of customer relationship marketing I have ever seen. I have on many occasion used the club as a great example or CRM to clients and in interviews. If a FMCG brand could deliver what the NPGMC delivers the brand mangers would be over the moon.


That said yes he does need am manager of some kind.

Every post that starts off with "Prince needs..." is automatic shit and thus I wil dismiss this crap immediately.
