♥ New Prince Live DVD only $14.99 ♥ NEWS now only $13.49! ♥ Prince's favorite book is 30% off ♥ Free Shipping ♥

And unlike the NPGMC, you get free shipping if you spend $25. (So if you buy both the dvd and N.E.W.S. (only $13.49) from Amazon, you get free shipping.)

Prince: Live at the Aladdin Las Vegas will be released on August 19, 2003. You may pre-order it now and Amazon will ship it to you when it arrives.

The best thing about that is that you won't have to worry about delays like with N.E.W.S. That, and you don't have to pay $25 to become a member to receive essentially the same thing that NPGMC members like myself did...

Enjoy smile

P.S. It seems they also have several copies of One Nite Alone 3CD set for less than the $50 that the member's only npgmc retail is selling it for...

And Prince's favorite book is 30% off too evillol

hopefully by the time the npgmc lists the dvd, they'll have updated the retail section to include the dvd and news.

i'm guessing they won't though.

not easy to update everything when it's that annoying flash crap...

It seems they also have several copies of One Nite Alone for less than the $50 that npgmc retail is selling it for...

Now i kind of feel dumb for spending the $25 on this year's club membership, plus what's turned out to be more for "member" prices on the exact same cds... oh well... lesson learned

Media Play (not sure if you have those) have it for $44.00. I'll be getting mine there. I expect to have both the DVD and N.E.W.S. by the end of August.

I was all set to, until the email fiasco and people's delayed NEWS shipments. Now I'm just gonna sit back and watch how this one unfolds too. I'll prob be able to pick both of them up in a clearance bin by the end of the year, which is probabbly when my official NPGMC shipment would arrive anyhow.

Exactly. Around Christmas, Best Buy will be selling it for cheap, I'm sure. I won't order anything from the club again...unless of course they release some of the outtakes and they're only for sale through the club. Like that'll ever happen.

i doubt you'll see either in the clearance bin. i don't believe there was a large pressing of news, and dvds rarely end up in the bargain bin (unless they're used) or specially priced... at least, not from what i've seen.

I ordered mine from playusa.com, others in the UK might be interested too. It's £10.99 including delivery and they normally take about 3-4 days to arrive.

They list the release date as 19/8/03 and £10.99 is just under $18, so a few dollars more than the NPG rate but shipping is extra from them and it takes longer to arrive.
RIP sad

the tracklisting has been posted multiple times...

"Intro/Soundcheck"
"Pop Life"
"Money Don't Matter 2 Night/The Work"
"Push and Pull" (with Nikka Costa)
"1+1+1=3" (includes "Love Rollercoaster/Housequake")
"Strollin'/U Want Me" (excerpt of a previously unreleased song)
"Gotta Broken Heart Again"
"Strange Relationship"
"Pass the Peas"
"Whole Lotta Love" (Led Zeppelin cover)
"Family Name"
"Take Me with U"
"The Everlasting Now"
"Sometimes It Snows in April"

A bonus clip tacked onto the disc features one additional cut, "The Ride," and special guests Nikka Costa, Maceo Parker and Sheila E. also make guest appearances.

who knows if that's all. it's disappointing to say the least that it's only 80 minutes when dvds can easily include another 80 minutes on top of that...

maybe someday prince will get it right.

ok - but the ONA set came with the price of LAST YEAR'S membership so you cant technically count that unless you were a broke ass buster and didnt join.

And when the tour starts, I will see you in the rafters while I am front row - again.
