Ok, Eye know I've never posted on here before, but Ive been a visitor to the org for almost 2 years. And I feel its time to speak on N.E.W.S.

Personally, I love this cd.. But thats irrelevant. All this backlash to Prince is ridiculous. If you dont like the album, great dont buy it, no one is forcing you to. If you think Prince is washed up, great, sell me your cds. The wonderful thing about Prince, is he does WHATEVER he wants to.. Which thats what being a musician is all about. It was never about making millions, or making anyone happy except himself. The great thing about being a Prince fan, is we get it. Which most of this world doesnt.. Thats why Brittany and Christina sell so many records. There are many artists I like, but that doenst mean I have to love everything they put their name on. Be thankful as Prince fans that we have new music often to decide if we like or not. Imagine being a M.Jackson fan. Prince does give his love for music to his fans, for them to choose if they get it or not. That my friends, is truly priceless.

P.S. If the fact that N.E.W.S has no lyrics bother you, go buy Ja Rule or some other watered down pop music of today..

Don't worry NewPowerToad. Some people actually get off on being negative all the time. You can't change that and neither can Prince.

But, the one thing I do like about Prince.org is that like it or not, you're going to find out what people REALLY think about Prince. And I would much rather deal with reading ALL the comments about Prince (both positive and negative) than having to deal with a site that constantly filters out everything that even hints of negativity. That is not reality and that is not truth. So, considering the alternative, Prince.org is definitely the place to be if you're true Prince fan.

I agree with your post whole-heartedly. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

But doesn't it sound like four fourteen minute adverts for four other albums Prince is going to release/has recorded and is just teaasing us with? There are so many ideas in NEWS that don't get time to flourish...which is a shame.

I do like it though.

If it bothers you what people truly feel about Prince, maybe the club is a better alternative for you where 'ain't no room to disagree'.

We still have a right to bitch if the music sucks.

I just bought my copy of N.E.W.S. and I love it.
