my god life is good at the moment!

i went out last night,,,then went to work at midnite... then at 8am (only 90minutes ago) i finished & went back across the street to my favourite club,RedSquare. (was still more than a dozen ppl in the joint)
Dj played RockYourBody & CrazyInLove...

but the LAST THING I EXPECTED... was to hear out of teh blue:

"THE GREEEATEEESSST ROMAAANCE..."

i went nuts & went str8 2 the Dj's booth,showed him my pendant & he loved it!
he said he's a big prince freak too.
pity about clubs these days tho,is they play set stuff...
i wont hear NOW or ComeOn in their i dont think.

hopefully he is DJing next weekend & he'll spin sumthin else P

Must be good 2 here it, but its a weak effort by The Neptunes standards I feel.

I go to a club in Manchester called 'The Electric Chair' which plays mutated disco, r 'n' b, house, hip-hop and other funky treats. I've heard a bit of Prince getting dropped there. I think the last one was a mix of 'Erotic City' that tickled me, although I've no idea what is was or whether it was official. There's a naughty bootleg in some shops here in the UK at the moment of 'Dorothy Parker' that's got some seriously nice, deep r 'n' b grooves on it. Very, very limited though.

The Point is in the centre of Sheffield. It used to be called Under The Boardwalk and is, erm, under The Boardwalk venue on Snig Hill. You can get tickets from The Store record shop and from Lowlife which is out of the centre, but very good for funky sounds.
