Just saw this show... Bloody amazing for a 19 year old. He sings I Wanna B Your Lover and Why U Wanna Treat..


A few things to note about the performance:

1) He was trying too hard
2) Those tight gold trousers were too much
3) His over the top dancing
4) He hurts himself with the microphone stand and lets out a scream
5) The show seems to be edited without an audience
6) He acts soo gay with Andre
7) He lies about his age
8) He is so cool for answering the questions maturely and in his own style.
9) The miming is weird coming from prince
10) The way the host asks Prince to come to the Mic!

Overall: WOW! What a performace from a young kid. He looks so hungry for success... Just amazing...

1) wasn't '79, it wuz in '80.
2) ol' boy lied about his age to make himself appear more of a prodigy...sumfin warners cooked up...in actuality he wuz 21, hehe...


and yeah, the performance wuz a trip to watch...the interview wuz funny as hell, too. if there's any avatar that i could have it'd be a still from this appearance, where he's holdin up his four fingers.

Ever notice that when he speaks in interviews on shows, there's a bunch of mic noise? That's 'cause they have to crank his mic to hear him.

Now give him a stage with some amps, different story.

Prince reminded me of Mick Jagger at this stage of His career.His Dancing was Very Jagger inspired&that Scared me.Prince got it right some few years later.but on that Show I was like this Negro is Dancing like a White Boy.

Prince hasn't aged well.
