Multiple ONA Live DVDs? I was putting the ONA: Vegas Live DVD onto CD last night and I started looking at the track listing. Seems like there are plenty of great songs missing. I wonder if any of the other shows were videotaped (with Prince's blessing ), and if this DVD sold well enough would more DVDs be released from different cities with completely different track lists? Why not? Obviously he didn't spend a fortune on producing the DVD. If the sales for this one were strong enough, why couldn't we have a proshot Tokyo DVD with a totally different set list? Pearl Jam released all of those live shows on CD from the tour they had a few years back, and we all know how Prince fans love to spend $$.

put the whole show on one disc. The point is, Japan was blessed with some incredible performances and some spunktastic live renditions of songs that were absent from the setlist for the rest of the tour. The whole thing just gained momento and force as they moved from the US to Europe and then 2 the East. Those shows were among the best ones of the tour for certain. I love the soundchecks from those dates, an amazing portrail of spontaneous musicianship. What a band. Incredible. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

From a $$ standpoint if you release (1) 3hr DVD @ $19.99 that's all you make.
If you release (3) seperate DVDs (each different set lists, different locations) @ $19.99 you've tripled your profits. I'm just wondering if he's testing the waters (probably just wishful thinking). You could make the argument that a complete show on one DVD would be a definite buy, but don't all of us already own the Live Vegas DVD?

Björk just released an extreme number of live dvd's. I think
even her own recordcompany is somewhat confused about what exactly they did or did not release That's the way to go. No one has to buy it all if they don't want to. But at least there is a cool selection to choose an item from. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I would prefer that Prince release a new CD with vocals and tour to support it in smaller venues similar to the ONA tour.
