Prince is better then 'top 40'. Top 40 is beneath him. Look at the company he'd have in the top 40. no thanks. I'd rather see him thrown into a pit of human filth then in the top 40.

Honestly, If people like Santana, Madonna, and all these other artists who supposibly "still got it" can hang, Prince can certianly do it.. Why isnt he? Cause he pisses on all the contracts and makes enemy's. He doesnt believe in a producer, nor the rest of what comes with it. He has no backin anymore.. who's gonna push up that money to get it in the top 40? there's no record company in his shadow... nothin.. he wont get airplay like it would deserve even if he tried.

People can call "us" weird, obsessed, ass-kissers, brainwashed etc. but IF we are a bit guilty of all this & more, so be it. WE KNOW WHATS GOOD & WHO'S THE BEST!!!, and we KNOW THE "BEST" is NOT on the top 40.

When i compare the music he made when he was in the 'crappy top 40' to what he made when he was not in the 'the crappy top 40' i say hell yeah. The new vibe is ok i guess, but it'd b nicer when he'd combine it with some kick ass 'vintage prince' material.
