Prince to sign record deal with Universal..? Ok, i thought i'd ask you guys how likley this could be..?
2 seperate people i know have told me they are releasing an album by prince next year through Universal. I thought'd they'd got mixed up regarding the DVD distribution of Aladdin. but they seem convinced as it's realas it's a different company. The bit i need to check with you guys is this: Neither of these guys like prince or have any great knowledge, so i was surprised when they told me how the deal came about - apparently David Rifvkin (sp), is Bobby Z's brother and has worked with P in the past. David IS a senior VP at Universal and could have brokered a deal using his relationship... I'm not saying this is fact, but i thought it was interesting. What do you guys think..? | |
