$200.00 when the Black album first came out...A friend of mine was in Japan at the time and called me to see if I wanted it.

The best money I spent at that time...

The most I ever paid for a Prince boot was:

$0.00! Either I have traded for them or downloaded them. I will NOT pay for boots.

I do not feel bad for stealing from the "Thieves In the Temple"...

"All Hail the Hub!"
"So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

was this for a bootleg copy or for the actual warner pressing? if you managed to get a real edition of the black album for only 200, you lucked out and made a great investment!!

Some of you seem to be forgetting some of us been doing this long before the net was here.Funny how everyone has paid these crazy prices yet he cant have a hit album.Course with crap like NEWS we wont be seeing that anytime soon.

No one in their right mind pays for boots now.Ive paid 50 bucks a few times for some multisets but that was back in the day.Now everythings free, and easy to find.

I paid AU$150 for the oringal Jewel Box I + II. I didn't think that was too bad for 6 CDs and also considering that studio boots are almost unheard of up here in Brisbane!
