Partyman jibberish I just came across a file called, "New Funk Sampling Series CD 2 Voice Sample - [Female 01].
What it is: the line from Partyman that is frequently transcribed as "Say I oughta knock U in, but don't come no." The good part about this file: it's acapella. Does anybody else have this? Upon close inspection, I think she's saying, "Me say, 'Aye,! And I like ya way.' To Babylon come no!" This being Prince, I'm not trying to make sense out of it, but I've always wondered what that line was. Who is this woman, what is she talking about, and are there any other interpretations? Thanks, Treaux

It sounds to me as if it is spoken by someone of Jamaican origin, and she may be saying @I and I' which is a common Rastafari expression. The reference to Babylon ties in with this.ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
