Since I decided to for go the "club" this year (paying member the past two) I had yet to score the new cd. I
was @ my local Borders and was suprised to see that they
had 2 copies, so I snatched one. This may be old news to
some, but some should find this useful.

i called Borders here this morning,they said it was ordered a month ago & they dont have it!

As a former music manager/buyer for Borders-They put alot things in the system availiable (basically anything in print). But its very possible someone special ordered through the store or web-site and bought one-then the auto-replenishment system sent one to the store...so I don't think they're carrying, I think someone requested or ordered it so now its there...trust me I just quit working for them about 2months ago & I bought music for over 200 stores (including over seas).

The corporate office is in Ann Arbor, Mich. I live & worked in Cali, so there was very little support from corporate & i had tons of responsibilites for stores in other state & countries...the support wasn't there from corporate. I left because I was upset with corporate, & they were doing this re-organization of the music (you'll see it in the next couple months). They are putting R&B together with rap & calling it "Urban", and changing the New Age section to "Lifestyles". There out of touch...I also was a buyer for Virgin for 2 years, Virgin is a great company. Borders is good store for the most part, but a crappy company to work for.

Also I called my old assitant Todd, & he said he ordered some for the company...so I guess they will be carrying N.E.W.S. in his stores (my old stores).

I'll shed a little more light on the story. I was actually looking for the new Duran remasters, it was about 10:00pm and the store was dead. No one was in the music dept so I helped myself to "looking" around. I located two copies on a cart of stuff that I assume was to be put out.

I went to every store in this damned town and no one has a copy of it.
