exposition	P's lack of live activity 2 parter here; in light of Prince's current lack of gigging, two questions have sprung to mind; when P does tour again do you think he will even be singing, or do you think it will be in the Xpectation/New vein? And what was Prince's longest period without a live performance?

Even if prince really wanted to do a concert of just instrumental, he will sing some how. its him, its what he does. But I also wouldn't be surprised. Cause Phil collins did that in 1999 with his big band. Everyone though he was joking but he did it.
I don't know when his longest period of not performing was.
