Is Prince a Muppet??? Can anyone clue me up? Just seen Prince on the muppet show from a few years ago (don't know how I could have missed this one, but I did!) - WHAT THE HELL IS ALL THAT ABOUT THEN??? It was very funny and somewhat surreal just wondered if anyone new why he did this or am I just having another one of my purple funny turns?!? | |

It was part of the Emancipation promotion era.
It was a fun and out-of character appearance - I kinda liked that media-friendly Prince. The debut of She Gave Her Angels from CB too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think that was part of his whole "family man" phase, where he was talking about making children's albums with Mayte and setting up a nursery room at Paisley...kinda sad in retrospect, but kinda cute at the time. | |

Yeah it was nice to see Prince's human side for a change. Also nice chance for people other pyschos like us to get a glimpse of his sense of humor. It is one of my favorite Prince moments.   Proud member of Prince's cult for 20 years! | |

I love the muppets, and I absolutely LOVE Prince in this. The whole Prince as a hick bit cracks me up every time. It's so cute and funny. |

I loved it when he sung the little country song. i really didn't expect that out of him. I thought it was really cool that he did the muppet show, he seemed incredibly comfortable and funny ....
