Glam Slam 91' VS Get Off Just got finished listening 2 Glam Slam 91' and I have 2 say it's awesome, but I had a question for some of u prince geeks out there ...
I noticed how in Glam Slam 91' Prince raps the word he did from get off. The words are basically the same, its a little bit different which got me 2 wondering, which one Prince did first... Glam Slam 91' or Get Off? I know Prince has a different version of Get of on the New Power Generation maxi single, I'm not aware if there's another of Get Off I never heard of... Does anybody have any info on this?

I think Glam Slam 91 was recorded first. I'm sure it was recorded some time in'90. I might be wrong tho...

Ya, GS'91 came first.
It's a bit nasty isn't it! But interesting from the POV that he tends to pick bits from songs and re-use them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm a sucker for a major chord

The song, 'Get Off' was placed on the proposed 10-track 'New Power Generation' maxi-single in September 1990.

The song, 'Gett Off', which borrowed only slightly from 'Get Off', and more significantly from 'Glam Slam '91' was recorded in May, 1991.
