Last night (about 11 PM) was the best night of my life...so far! It was really great!
I was going to see a stand-up show, and was also watching a movie about Linda McCartney. Suddenly, I get a SMS from my friend saying that there's a Prince Top 10! on MTV at that very moment!! The only time I saw Prince on MTV was when they did a 80's Top 10 and included Diamonds&Pearls video. So I turn on MTV and there he is...! singing Little Red Corvette! I was so happy I cried the whole time they played the videos. To my big disappointment, I was a bit late and turned on in the middle of #4, but there were 3 videos left, and I was so excited!!! Then, after LRC came Purple Rain, which was nice too, especially the guitar solo. Once again, Princes talent for dressing incredibly funky was proven. After PR came Raspberry Beret, with a very nice set-up with all the cloud things. Wendy looked damn nice in that one! And finally, 1999! That was a little less exciting than I expected, but what the hell - It was a Prince video!!! Wendy and Lisa were really hot, and as a girl, I must admit, Prince formed those gals very nicely. As for the critics: I expected a lot more movement in Princes face, as I imagined him incredibly emotionally touched during videos, but his eyes compensated every missing move in his lips. The dance techniques were beautiful. He reminds me of Michael Jackson in a lot of ways, but he still has his very own, unique way of dancing, and it goes awfully fast. I'd describe the dance as a mix between balet, break, electric boogie and Princes personality shown through his moves. The small steps he sometimes does, like turning a bit around and "stepping" all over the place are quite funny to watch, and I never imagined he could do so many funky tricks with his legs on those high heels! But it looks fantastic! I am deeply moved Thank U for your attention. I just wanted to share this beautiful, unique and touching experience.

With this kind of title I thought this thread was about a baby's birth or something like this ...

Me neither! I had always considered myself as one of the quite kind of gals, no screamin, no hysteric reactions, no tears for that matter! But I'm not, apparently. Could hold the tears back, so happy I was!
