I just got the Crystal Ball/The Truth set, in the circular, tansparent 'crystal ball' plastic case. It's supposed to be the UK edition. However, on each of the three Crystal Ball discs (not the Truth one), it says 'Bootleg' on the side. Is this right?

It IS the official release, not a bootleg.
It came in 3 different formats.
UK/US Retail version - 4cd's, booklet, jewel-case
US limited retail version - 4cd's, round PVC case
US mail order version - 5cd's, no booklet, round PVC case (some with T-shirt)
