Prince has the right of course to choose whoever he wants to be his friend. But, if you have ever seen him on stage with Prince, it doesn't take much to see that Larry isnot all that smart, and the first thing that comes to my mind when I see Larry is What a fake.

I think that it is amazing that Prince the genius would let such an idiot guide him in so many ways.

You can bet your life that Larry and the JWs are the ones that influenced Prince to stop having parties at PP and I'd bet every penny they're the reason he didnot attend his parents funerals.
People don't attend funerals for different reasons. I didn't attend my father's funeral. Does that make me some kind of cruel monster? No. I didn't want to attend my mom's funeral either. It is a personal decision. The person lying there does not care. Are folks here 100% sure that he didn't go? Were any of the fans there? That's just palin creepy and disrespectful if fans did show up.Maybe he said his goodbyes at an earlier time. Also, if Prince's newfound religion says that he can't or should not attend funerals, then he would be doing what he feels pleases God and not his fans. As far as the influence Mr. Graham has over Prince, look around. Who influenced us? When my mom was here, I am sure she would have been a lot happier with me if I hadn't been influenced by Prince but we all make our own paths and so does Prince. I just wish folks would stop faulting Larry for New Prince. The decision is ultimately Prince's what he will do with his life.

I'm crushed! I was a die-hard Coke fan until they came out with New Coke. Even when they brought back Classic Coke, it just never tasted the same. I switched to Pepsi.

Now here I am waitin' for Paisley Park to shelve New Prince and bring in Classic Prince, but it could all be in vain! They'll never get the formula right and I'm gonna have to switch to Madonna or D'Angelo.

The horror!!! omg
I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

It sucks because he was always spiritually independent, not a die-hard member of any organized religion, a free spirit. Now he's on lock-down.

That was my point at the Rainbow Children Celebration...I said almost the exact same thing at the little discussion group after we heard the TRC for the first time...I made that statement and was literally booed.

And later I was asked to know longer attend the Paisley functions...unbelievable. Still love the guy, but damn...JW's are shady people. Religious people in general are pretty misguided...spiritual are cool, but those other folks...dirty.

This really happened to you? Oh man, that's sad. I can hardly believe it, in fact. Sheep, they are! All sheep.

Neronava, I'm sorry, I can't hardly believe they did that to you just for speaking the truth.
If everyone would have gave their real opinion on the subject all but a few would have been banned.

Oh it really happened. I'm not sure how to prove it...but the sheep were in full effect. I've brought this story up a couple times, & quite a few times people have remembered me.

I'm serious...it happened.

prince has the right..to give us back what we lost..
we lost our money, our time, some of us even identity over him..
bowie's and madonna's fans got their icons, active stars who put out brillant records AND top the charts while majors reprint their back catalogue with outtakes and live version; we are still losing our time on "new musical ways"...
tell what you like, but rc and ona and news are not prince's music..they are graham's..and be honest, how many years passed since we had reals chills from a prince's album? I mean..the REAL ones, not just " oh, it's ok,it's right, i love the brother blah blah.." TOO MANY...
I hope that graham is not in prince's circle anymore: he influenced his music poorly, his lifestaile only for the worst, and even his spirituality is lacking short at the time..LOVESEXY, not the rainbow children was a spiritual album, and was great music too..

What? When did Bowie last top any charts? And when did Madonna become a brilliant artist?
