I have to admit, that I was dating a JW for a long time and it just did not work because he kept pressuring me to convert to JW. I was adamantly opposed to conversion and really did not agree with a lot of things that JW's believe in, e.g., not giving blood transfusions, not celebrating birthdays or holidays, etc. Funny thing is that he didn't have a problem having sex before marriage. People are sooo hypocritical.

But, what did it for me is when he demanded that if we got married and had children, our children would be JW's, even if I did not convert...

We broke up a few days later...

What is interesting to me is that I find it very difficult to believe that P would succumb to anyone's pressuring him to do anything. I don't know him and don't care to, but I can't see him converting to JW based on someone's prostelyzing. But, perhaps he was in awe of Larry and what the JW's had to say. I can tell you from my own personal experience, e.g., visiting Kingdoms with my ex, for instance, that they are VERY persistent in trying to convert.

Who knows, but it's definitely fun to speculate.

First off, I didn't call anyone a monster if they chose not to go to a funeral. But JWs are discouraged, and baptised ones arenot allowed to attend other places of worship, funerals, weddings in other places of worship.

no, it's not my case but someone truly spent millions over prince..i personally know person wich got couple of rooms in their house filled with prince bootleg, rarities, memorabilia..sound weird, but it's the truth...and maybe they deserve a little bit more of respect from prince.

And here some of us go again, as fans deciding what's best for Prince outside the music arena. Talking like they know him personally because they buy his music therefore, they know exactly what he's thinking, doing, and feeling and why. They don't like his friends so he shouldn't be with them. They don't like his religion so he needs to become___(Fill in the blank). They don't like his wife he should've married___(again, fill in the blank). My ... WHO CARES??!! I'm guessing that Prince didn't call anybody's house telling them to give up their lives for him because...here's the big news, HE DOESN'T KNOW YOU AND HE CAN CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL LIFE!! Who he married, who he's friends with, and his religion is his life. The ironic thing is those screaming the loudest about LG and JW influence over Prince are here with the rest of us everyday in the cult that is Prince following the 25 year sermons that is his music, attending the church of NPGMC and Prince.Org. BUT PRINCE IS CRAZY TO JOIN THE JW AND LG. Some of us just can't see the forest from the trees.
