The show is a monument in music history. And Electric Intercourse definitely IS a masterpiece. And don't you think that he took those initial chords of "A Case Of you" for the much later release of "I love you but I don't trust you anymore"?

anyway I just want to worship the 20th anniversary of one of the hottest piece of live music ever

Well, its soundboard, sort of. The video's audio is taken from soundboard. Its just 4-6 generation video tape watering down the sound. There is 1st-2nd generation copy of that tape goind around which would probably sound so much better, but alas no one is gonna give it out. Someone prove me wrong.

What can i say that hasn't already been said???

This was a turning point in Prince's career...he almost knows that this show will be the bomb. He's taping it, he has a mobile studio out back recording to a 48 track - he just knows these songs will be make music history.

Has anyone seen that BBC doco where there is a clip taken from Prince's own copy of the show? Its about 10 sec of the 1st verse of Purple Rain, and it looks and sounds incredible! Perfect quality - god this show neds to be released.
