Do you remember when Prince had this ABC special, he played like 2 or 3 Nights. Also playing was George Clinton and Carment Electra. Prince Did "My name is Prince, Love2the9's medly w/ Sexy MF, Damn u, and ended it all w/ Sacrifice of Victor. I'd pay anything to buy those. I was wondering if anyone had any info on it so that i could try to find and buy it. thanks!!

The name of this was IN CONCERT which was a late night music show in 1992-1996.The Emancipation concert which opened on MTV was rebroadcast on this program as well.

The first night was a edited version of the 3 Chains of Gold video.IMO a better version .The second night was a concert hosted by Troy Beyer.I loved the versions of Sacrifice of Victor and I Wanna Melt With U.

yeah, this is the same thing i have. i thought it was an IN CONCERT episode, but i always wondered why it was subtitled The Ryde Divine...well, leave it to prince i guess!

I have it on tape. It had George Clinton, The Crayons, Carmen Electra, Mavis Staples, and of course Prince. The Ryde Divine was part 2 of the In Concert special. The first one featured the video to "Love Sign" and a live performance of "The Ride" which still kicks my ass everytime I watch it.

It was called The Ryde Dyvine because the first song played was The Ryde Dyvine.

Lip syncing the lead vocal was Sonny T but it was clearly sung by Prince on the backing tape.
