Rainbow Children 2 GET FULL UK RELEASE!

NTLWORLD, the internet provider are promoting prince's album "THe Rainbow Children" on their homepage! The text is as follows.

The link states

"He's controversial, he's influential - his latest studio track"

Leading 2

"Prince’s latest studio album, ‘The Rainbow Children’, finally gets a full UK release, after originally being available only via Prince’s website in late 2001, then in the USA just over a year ago.

Described by the man himself as 'a headphone album, not easily defined', 'The Rainbow Children' is not just a record, it's an experience.

We've got a few tracks from the album for you to listen to."

Weird aint it! The album has only been out for 2 years!

It's not a popular viewpoint, but I love TRC. And Emancipation too smile

I bet in 20 years time, when kids are scouring Prince's back catalogue (just as I did with Marvin Gaye's stuff, George Clinton etc) they'll devour his wackier albums like TRC... they'll lap it up!

"He's controversial"

He's about as controversial as finding a suger puff in a packet of cornflakes these days.

I love Emancipation. Those who don't like it need help. And fast.

I dunno - how many kids are scrambling for Little Richard's religious records?

Definitely.

I need help understanding what the hell is the point in publishing diarhea that's formulaic at best. 3/4 of the songs begin with him singing the title of the song. Redundant? Maybe.

I've never understood this formulaic argument about Emancipation. To my ears there's nothing formulaic about Courtin' Time, White Mansion, In This Bed I Scream, Soul Sanctuary, Curious Child, Dreamin' About U, Joint 2 Joint, Let's Have A Baby, The Plan, New World, The Human Body, Sleep Around, My Computer, The Love We Make and probably others if I could be arsed to think about it. As for many songs beginning with the title of the song, well that's just nit-picking.
