Religon or Music Most people have a crutch to support them or a wall to hide behind but it seems that Prince has two, Religion and Music. Which do you think Prince uses more these days?
In the past, we are told, the emotional and personal issues Prince dealt with came out in the B-sides, a semi-public venting of personal angst through his music. Then came religious awakenings post Black Album/pre Lovesexy where we see (IMHO) a great combination of religion and music, and we saw the benefits of both, in Lovesexy and then SOTT. More recently in these post Jehovah days we get the great (again IMHO) Rainbow Children. It’s like he bounces from one to the other. Now, I am clueless, and I suppose its because there are no vocals? Don’t get me wrong, I like the instrumental stuff but it certainly adds to the enigma. What is he up to? So what do you think, is he using Music or Religion to fight the demons Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

I would like to say the music but to be honest I don't know anymore.
The thing that pisses me off is the way that people will try and foist their religion onto you. If he thinks he is saving himself, fair enough but the rest of us really don't need saving... except maybe from the onslaught of jazz-funk...
