I have an idea for a huge .org undertaking, but I need your advice as to whether it's foolish. I was thinking that it might be cool to get a collective "encyclopedia" of Prince recordings from org members. In other words, those who want to participate would sign up for one song to study for awhile. They would then write an in depth description of the song and submit it to me. After all song descriptions had been submitted, I'd post the results.

I know it's a huge undertaking as Prince has some 400+ released songs and I don't know if many of you would be up to it. I just thought it would be a nice tribute to the guy who has made this place possible in the first place.

So tell me, is my idea dumb? If not, would you be up for it? If there is enough positive feedback, I can start a "sign up sheet" for songs.

After reading your analysis of "1999" I don't think I'm capable dissecting any of his recordings on a level that you displayed.
