I love MJ's '80s stuff and my favorite is his Bad album...I wish Prince did that duet with him on the title track as originally planned...anyway, if Prince could do a cover version of a Michael Jackson song what would it be??

He did cover a Prince song. On his 1987 tour he covered "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night" as an instrumental intermission half way through his show. Here in Rotterdam anyway.

Okay, the last one was a joke.

Why would Prince fans want him to cover a MJ song? This is just ludicrous. Prince would never cover MJ, not in a million years. I know he has done a few covers in the past, but I doubt he would ever do MJ. MJ has some great songs, but I can't see Prince doing any of them.

I'd like to turn it around and have MJ do Prince's "Until You're in My Arms Again".I think that song is perfect for Michael.

Hmmm, I'd have to say 'Keep It In The Closet'... I reckon Prince's voice would really blend in well to the spoken parts, and his falseto could be used to good effect throughout the climactic parts of the song

Stranger In Moscow, In The Closet,and Speed Demon, as well as the Bad outtake "Streetwalker" remind me of Prince. I could see him doing those songs. It would also be interesting to see how he could funk out these classics:

Yep it is a matter of opinion Cloudbuster. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike MJ. In fact, I own a few of his cd's, but there is no one like Prince and to compare the two just makes me laugh. MJ is an entertainer and a damn good one, but Prince is a musician and one of the best there is.
