Purple Rain Live VS Sign O' the times Concert video I've watch both over 1,000 times and I think Prince did brillant job on both of them. Every time I watch either or, I'm always reminded how much Prince just had the whole package and if there's one thing for sure, he knew how to put on one hell of a show, that absolutely blew u out of your freakin mind. You got sex, dance, romance, lust, love, spiritally, immorality, fantasy and reality all in one show.Even though it wasn't all high tech like a MJ, you still had a funky good time and although it was a sold out concert in time sqaure, Prince made it feel intimate, like he was performaning for just you and me. Whenever I watch the purple rain concert on video I get chills up my spins every time Prince pops up from the stage, getting ready 2 perform let's go crazy and sayz "My name is Prince and I've come 2 play with u"  ...I mean it sayz it all, rigt in that sentence that you are getting ready 4 the ride of ur life (so just sit back and enjoy)If you've recently become a fan and you're only use 2 seeing Prince performane the Rainbow children act, Oh Lord how much can I stree you're missing so much on the old Prince when he was a wild and crazy bad boy 
Then on the other hand, how can you resist the 4ever in my life performance on the Sign O' the times video? I love how Prince sings The song "IT" and screams at the audience  That is just the best

Purple Rain Live: - the intro is unforgettable... - 'Let's Pretend we're married'...the scene with the stool...

I can't choose!!!
Both should be on DVD, so we can watch them over and over and over and over again. I VHS tapes I have, are getting worse and worse... DVD PLEASE! Baby I'm a star on Purple Rain Live was sooo funky, all those people on stage! Long version of Purple Rain... but not long enough! it's so great On SOTT the intro... damn... goosebumbs on my whole body. The cross asolutely great... I could never take etc, end guitar solo at the end... great And ofcourse... LiveSexy should be there as well! _______________________________________________________________________________________

SOTT is amazing. I watched it back in 1999, not knowing any Prince apart from what everyone knows in general. The day after I bought Purple Rain and SOTT, then went apeshit. | |

I love both.
The thing that blew me way was on P.R vid. when Prince did Irresistable b. and sequed in POSSESSED. Love that song. On the other hand I love SOTT. If I was your girlfriend and Forever in My Life. Those two songs really made realize how cool that shit is. Peace. . "

Yeah the detroit concert was off the hook. and the triple threat concert was nice too.
Between PR and SOTT I'd have to go with the pruple rain concert.
