I won't be listening to it six weeks from now...hell, six days. How many Prince fans out there are convincing themselves that this is a good album? This one should just about break that spell for ya.

TRON

I got it today as well and I love it. But I've always loved Prince's instrumental work, so that's no surprise.

i dig the record. its good. not excellent. not fantastic. but pretty good. i like the vibes. i like the grooves. i like not hearing him talk. i can play this at work too, so i guess it serves its purpose. i was actually going to return it...on jewish principle...but then i would have to forfeit the cost of shipping and that would then defeat the purpose of jewish principle! anyhow...its cool. i'll still be listening in a year.

I think it's great, like madhouse on the next level. Sure blows away the stuff they play on "jazz radio."

Or even six hours. It's alright, but "Xpectation" was way better.

The lifetime of my interest in this album will probably shorter than the delivery time from the NPGMC..

Judging from the lofi mp3s that were featured on the NPGMC that is, because I still haven't receiverd the damned thing...

It's ok but nothing to get really excited about. Through a dance performance, I got to know Miles Davis' "bitches Brew" and if someone isonto some serious funky experimentation, you better put news asside and get that Davis recording!

ps.performance was "Bitches Brew/Tacoma narrows" from rosas.

I really like it 2 be honest. Its totally cool and chilled out. East is wicked! I think its a lot better than Xpectation which I thought was a bit on the bland side.

"Madhouse on the next level" is exactly what I have been thinking. I have always been a HUGE fan of Madhouse so I am happy with NEWS.
