Remind him what a LIVE documentation should sound like!

Send him SMALL CLUB on 2cdr: This is how to slam a live lp! Live and UNCUT!

---

As much as I'm looking 4ward to the Las Vegas dvd, I know that at 80mins long it'll be butchered to death in the editing suite like a piece of tender meat!

I say remind him what a LIVE documentation should sound like!

Hell, SOTT did it for me, but that was made with love and care and the editing was logical and didn't disrupt the flow of the music, whilst retaining the narrative of the film too

I really dig the official ONA 3cd box, but hell the boots are better and we all know that. Okay you can't beat the sound clarity a soundboard gives, but ONA in Buffalo 2cd for example is amazing... and the European leg is even better represented with live documentations that defy belief in terms of sound quality!

We all know the audio rip of the Vegas dvd will be with us real soon, but heck the gig will be edited so much that it may prove less appealing than the offical 3cd! Also, the entire dvd will fit on one 80min cdr - don't know about you, but a 1cd boot does not represnt a 2.5 hour gig in any shape or form

Man, if you're gonna put out a 3cd box and dvd of a single tour, then at least put some heart into it - that's all I ask...

Anxiety

Look at the bright side - as long as the official product is so obviously compromised by extensive editing (and to be fair, I haven't seen it yet - it could be a smooth ride), the motivation will always exist for bootleggers to profit from the raw, uncut funk.

Strange but true...

The ONA TOKYO dvd(r) may prove the lasting documentational footage of the tour...

that and Prince's master tape of the Vegas footage!

Those bootlegs from Japan 2002 were amazing, the audience recordings...alot were CDR, but it's top notch sound on all concerts save for Sendai, which sucks.

Check them out guys!

Don't forget The ONA Aftershow from NYC.This is the show w/ the amazing version of Joy In Repetion from the Box Set, I think. Not complete but at least it exists.

Yeah I got the NYC cdvideo set - doesn't compare to the quality of TOKYO though. Perhaps sum1 could master it to dvd?
